Cups
12" x 12" Oil on Canvas. 2019
ABOUT THE PAINTING
A part of the Candy Collection. The vivid orange of these Reese's Peanut Butter Cups wrapping compliments the blue outline of the letters.
Although I studied frame restoration at the Louvre in Paris, France, I prefer to sell my original oil paintings unframed due to the history of frames and the framing process.
I feel that the frame finishes the painting and offers the patron an outlet to express their response to the painting and to contribute to the completion of the artwork.
It brings me joy to see the various ways in which my patrons have chosen to complete their pieces.
